Indications: Echinacea Purpurea is a suitable remedy for tonsillitis and fever. Corners of mouth and lips are cracked. Tongue is dry and swollen, dirty brown in color. Tonsils are purple or black with gray exudation extending to posterior nares and air passages. Throat is ulcerated. In fever there is chilliness with nausea. Cold flashes all over back and is also useful in malarial fever.

Echinacea Purpurea is also useful remedy for puerperal septicemia when discharges are suppressed and abdomen is sensitive and tympanic. It is also useful for offensive, excoriating leucorrhea.

Echinacea Purpurea also helps in skin complaints like recurring boils, carbuncles and gangrene. It is also useful in irritations from insect bites and poisonous plants.
