Indications: Lachesis is a chief remedy for many female complaints and especially suitable for the problems of menopause. The patient says, has never been well since that time, that is since menopause. It is useful in inflammation of left ovary, cellular tissue and engorgement of veins giving purple and mottled appearance. There are hot flushes and hot perspiration during menopause. Extremes of heat and cold causes great debility. There may be hemorrhoids, burning vertex and headache during menopause. It also helps in menstrual troubles. Menses is at regular time but short and scanty. Blood is dark, watery, and non-coagulable. All the troubles are relieved by the start of the menstrual flow.
