Indications: Zincum Metallicum has marked action on restless legs. There is incessant and violent fidgety feeling and weakness in the feet due to defective vitality and lack of brain and nerve power. The patient wants to keep legs moving constantly. There is excessive nervous movement of feet in bed for hours after retiring, even when asleep. Feet are sweaty and sore about the toes. Foetid and suppressed foot sweat. There is great weakness and trembling of extremities. The patient cannot tolerate covering during sweating. The patient has debility due to lack of nerve power.

Zincum Metallicum is also a chief remedy for brain-fag. Brain and nerve power wanting. The patient is weak to develop, to expectorate, to urinate, to understand, to memorise. Hence has weak memory. The patient cries out during sleep. The whole body jerks while sleeping and wakes up frightened. There is automatic motion of the hands and head or one hand and head.
